Welcome
If you're here, chances are you've been carrying a lot.
Maybe you’ve tried to willpower your way through patterns that won’t budge—or perhaps you’ve been white-knuckling your way through recovery, unsure how to truly feel safe in your own system.
This course is for people like you—and like me. People who are ready to heal from the inside out.
People who are curious about what happens when we stop fighting ourselves and begin listening instead.
People who want a trauma-informed, spiritually-grounded path to recovery that honors all parts of who they are.
What is Self-Led Recovery?
Self-Led Recovery is a 4-month journey that blends the Internal Family Systems (IFS) model with practical recovery principles. Together, we’ll gently uncover the parts of you that have been trying to help—often in ways that no longer serve—and invite a deeper connection to the healing, wise presence inside you: what we call Self in IFS.
You’ll receive a combination of weekly zoom sessions, guided meditations, journal prompts, and community-based support to help anchor you in your own Self-led healing.
Who This Is For
This course is for you if:
You're in recovery from addiction, food issues, co-dependency, or complex trauma
You’ve been in therapy, 12-step programs, or other healing paths and are looking for deeper internal work
You’re new to IFS or want to apply it more practically in your life
You’re ready to slow down, listen to your system, and approach healing with compassion
You want a safe space where all parts of you are welcome
Course Structure
The course is divided into 4 themed sections, each lasting 3 weeks:
SECTION 1: Meeting Your Inner System
Weeks 1–3 | Discovering Protectors & Developing Presence
We begin by noticing the protective parts that show up in your daily life and introduce practices to build trust, calm, and presence.
SECTION 2: Working with Wounds
Weeks 4–6 | Understanding Trauma & Befriending Exiles
With safety and Self-energy, we gently approach the parts holding emotional pain and begin the process of befriending and healing.
SECTION 3: Releasing the Past
Weeks 7–9 | Legacy, Patterns & Cultural Burdens
We explore inherited beliefs, survival strategies, and cultural burdens—then begin to release what no longer belongs.
SECTION 4: Living from Self
Weeks 10–12 | Integration, Renewal & Future Vision
You’ll design a life led by Self—anchored in clarity, confidence, and connection with your inner system.
